Najat Hussaini was the first health educator and first university-educated Saudi female employee in 1964 at Saudi Aramco.

With her determination and professional motivation she achieved tremendous success. She was the only female Saudi woman among her fellow American working in the secretarial and health sector. Najat Al Hussaini went to various remote areas in Saudi Arabia in search of patients in need of health care. She provided vaccinations for children as the eastern region suffered from infectious diseases like cholera and smallpox. By launching awareness campaigns to combat diseases, she educates families about health care. She received the highest appreciation and gratitude from the citizens and residents who have recuperated their health from her hands, at the times specially when this was a rarity. Al-Husseini was capable to prove to skeptics that Saudi women are proficient and no less accomplished than their fellow Saudi men and her European female equivalents. She also trained Saudi women to work and paved the way for Muslim women to work in many fields.
